The top two Ladies teams played each other on Monday evening with Hoddesdon coming out on top winning 6-3 and taking over the top spot from rivals Hatfield. Stanstead Abbotts won 5-4 at home to Watford and Welwyn Garden City had a 7-2 win over luckless Welwyn.
Jodie Alligan had the best average of 20.59 this week. Janet Driscoll & Linda Searle both had 20 dart finishes and Rita Brownless had the highest finish with 125.
In the Men's League Enfield became the first team to be whitewashed this season after losing 16-0 at home to Waltham Abbey this was one of the best games of the season as Waltham Abbey had the best team average of 27.36 which was the best for many years in the league, Enfield responded with a 25.43 team average, the lowest average in the Waltham Abbey team was 24.96, Enfield played very well but it was Waltham Abbey's night and there was not much Enfield could about it except Practice!
Waltham Abbey remain top of the League with 14 points after eight games with Cheshunt the surprise team in second place having yet to lose a game on 12 points with South Oxhey and Boxmoor next level on 10 points each, Enfield after this loss are now bottom of the league but there are still a lot of games to play
