Please note that all Team Managers Reports are now updated on the County Pages
With League Leaders Hoddesdon not playing Hatfield's win at Welwyn Garden City gave them a chance to go level at the top but they have played a game more, Welwyn are now getting nearer a win after there 4-5 defeat at home to Watford.
Linda Searle had the top average and the best legs finish but Di Turner had the highest finish with 154. In the Men's League at the halfway stage Waltham Abbey are still top after there 12-4 win at home to Boxmoor but congratulations go to Cheshunt who are still undefeated and are only two points behind Waltham Abbey, South Oxhey have moved into third place over Boxmoor. After a lull over the past month it was a surprise to find eight players with averages over 27+ Jason Neville came out on top with a 31.98 with James Donnelly 29.64, Steve West 29.47 and Peter Shore followed with a 29.32. Making a return to the League Alan Nateghi had a 11 Dart leg and David Meader a 12 dart finish plus the top finish of 140. The Ladies played there League singles on Monday evening and congratulations go to Jane Phillips who won the Singles Title by defeating Tara Deamer 3-2 in a very evenly contested final. Last eight results are on the Competition page.
There was not much to report about the Men's League seemingly carried on from the weekend, in the League Waltham Abbey drew 8-8 at lowly Harpenden RBL, Cheshunt had to give a single away due to personal problems but still managed a draw 8-8 at home to Rye Park and remain undefeated. Steve Hartley was the only player to achieve above 27.00 averages there was no qualifiers for the 13 and under legs but congratulations to Wally Kasparak for hitting a 151 finish in his singles game. The County team travelled to Merseyside for there next game and came away with a rather dismal 28-11 overall defeat, theres not much you can say except both Ladies teams drew 3-3 but the Men's team managed five points between them the "A" team lost 10-2 and the "B" team lost 9-3, you can only say we were beaten by a better team.
