Hertfordshire ended the season on a high with a very good 24-15 overall win over Worcestershire at the Shamrock Club which left us two points from Promotion back into Division Two and in 4th Position in the Overall Promotion League Table when you consider Hertfordshire won 7 games overall out of 9 games played.
Overall it's seemed an up and down season we did have a couple of bad results which has cost us dear but the four teams actually did well in there individual Leagues, the Men's "A" team finished in 7th position with 4 wins whilst the Men's "B" finished Runners Up winning 5 and drawing 3 games, the Ladies had a very good season the "A" team did not lose a game finishing in 3rd position winning 2 games but drawing the other 7 games, the "B" team lost only 1 game in finishing Runners up by winning 5 and drawing 3 games.
Against Worcestershire on Saturday the Ladies "B" team gave us a great start by winning 5-1 with Stacie Pinnuck winning the Match Award, the Men's "B"raced into a 5-1 lead with Joe Croft winning the Match Award very narrowly from Lee Searles but then the wheels came off the wagon has we won only one game out of the next 6 to draw 6-6.
On Sunday the Ladies "A" team drew 3-3 including Match Award winner Jodie Alligan, the Men's "A" played very well to win 7-5 after losing the first 3 games with Robin Wigg winning the Match Award it was a very good team performance from the Men's "A" Team.
Match details will be issued later.
